Water Collection

The awning water collection system allows you to stay in places where fresh water is not always close at hand. [As long as it rains :-)] The kits include the fittings, and you permanently attach to your awning gutters. Picture 3 shows an additional filter you can get which filters out the large objects such as leaves, branches and stones. This can also be used in line when sucking water out of a stream with a pump; to prevent objects getting sucked up into your pump. Picture 4 shows the whole system in use.

Water Filters

The Blue Canister is designed for outside use. The White Canister is designed to be mounted inside.

The filters themselves are 1 micron filters, so they filter out the 3 micron Guardia which is becoming a problem in New Zealand.
